4/24/17 – The skull on the headboard in Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean is a real skull.

2/13/17 – One day somebody snuck a weapon into Disneyland and shot the glass in The Haunted Mansion ballroom. Instead of replacing the glass, Disney put a spider over the hole and painted a web to cover it up.

11/21/16 – Staff can play basketball in the Matterhorn at Disneyland.

9/26/16 – P.L. Travers, the writer of Mary Poppins, did not like any of the songs for the movie Mary Poppins except “Let’s Go Fly a Kite.”  If they did not have that song she would have probably backed out of the movie deal.

2/6/17 – The largest comic book collection is in the Library of Congress. They currently hold over 100,000 individual issues.

11/14/16 – The Illinois results for the vote for president were 55.4% for Hillary Clinton, 39.4% for Donald Trump, 3.8% for Gary Johnson, and 1.4% for Jill Stein.  The Jersey County results were Donald Trump 71%, Hillary Clinton 25%, Gary Johnson 4%, and Jill Stein 1%.
